Students are encourged to display their collections at the bianunnal Gemboree as a part of the Showmanship badge. See here for more information on AFMS Junior badge program:
Children ages 8-18 who love rocks, minerals and fossils are welcome to join the club. Parents attend meetings and stay with their children. There is a yearly per family membership fee.
